The key was finding the right fit between buyer and seller - it involved an independent brand rolling into the Harcourts brand, and this was seen as a positive for buyer, seller, landlords and tenants. The buyer was geographically located in new purpose built offices to service the portfolio's geographic spread and had the capacity to take on a portfolio of this size. One of the company director's and the General Manager went across to the buyer with the portfolio to ensure a smooth transition bedding the managements into their new home.
